Lumbee painter and mixed-media artist Lloyd Oxendine’s accomplishments and contributions to the art world seem limitless. He is a member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s (MET) Audience Development Committee and the online curator of Amerinda’s Artists Roster. Oxendine’s work is part of the permanent collections of many institutions including those of Columbia University, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Pembroke State University, the Antonia Vivaldi Foundation, and the Fashion Group. Additionally, more than 40 of his works have been acquired by private collectors throughout the United States and Europe. His art has been exhibited in more than 30 one-man and group shows.
